Show and Tell

2-4pm, Sunday, 7th December, Museum of Childhood, opposite our main venue at the Young Foundation.

By 2pm on Sunday 7th December, we’re hoping that your team will be ready to tell everyone who’s been at Social Innovation Camp (plus some extras) about what you’ve been up to all weekend.

This will be an informal presentation of your idea – we’ve made some suggestions about what we think you might want to talk about here. They’ll be a laptop and projector to demonstrate your tech of course. Make your presentation as imaginative and engaging as you can!

Prizes

We’ve got some prizes to give away – see here for details.

What the judges are looking for

Nothing new here – they’re interested in what we set out right at the beginning of our call for ideas:

1.) Proof of potential:

We’re leaving up to you to decide how you do this: just get the judges excited about your ideas and show us what you can do!

2.) People power:

That the project has the potential to create significant social change by enabling people to do things better for themselves.

3.) Technology, but not just for geeks:

That the technical solution is innovative, yet user-centric: it’s a tool designed for anyone to use, not just traditional technology users.

Remember that your project shouldn’t just be about the technology: we’d also like you to consider how a community of users will develop, how it will spread and how people will use it.
